This is the electric transformer at the street, next to our driveway. This was a major expense as the nearest power was nearly a quarter mile away. The good news is that we will recover much of that cost in the future when the neighbors around us link up to this box. |

The
septic tank and leach field are located northwest of the house in
a nice patch of forest. Unfortunately, to meet code we had to cut
down about eight Ponderosa Pines. The lumber will be used for various
craft projects, including furniture.
