The property is 5.64 acres at an altitude of approximately 8500 feet, located in Custer County about 13 miles south of the County Seat, Westcliffe. This property is one of 535 properties within a development known as "Cuerno Verde - The Pines".

We begin 2003 with the house completely "dried in". The roof is finished, the chimney is installed, plus all doors and windows are installed.

Notice the large picture windows facing west toward the Sangre de Cristos. These windows provide an awesome view from almost any position on the main floor and from the loft.

In the coming weeks we will complete the plumbing, electrical, drywal, and plaster. After that we will install the flooring. By that time, warmer weather should take hold so that we can put the finishing touches on the outside which will be a combination of stucco and cultured stone. (Yes, our stones are all well versed in the arts and sciences. We certainly would not want our stones to be uncultured, would we?)
